Our Leadership Team

David Neel, CEO
After 20 years in Fortune 100 corporate America, David entered the world of private equity. His Wall Street investment banking and consulting background has prepared him well. Over the last five years, David has served as adviser, fund raiser, and in management positions for six different ventures, including one completing its successful exit strategy.

Prior to these ventures, David served as Strategy and Transformation Service Line Leader for Ernst & Young’s global Consumer Products Manufacturing, Retail, and Distribution Sectors. He also served as the national director for E&Y’s proprietary StraightEightsSM Method for wealth creation in the connected economy and was the co-creator of the Innovation 100 Index published by CMP Media’s Information Week.

In addition to corporate roles, David has served on the Cabinet for United Way and as a CFO, committee member, and business consultant for various non-profit foundations. He has also lectured on various strategic planning, systems development, and business modeling topics at university campuses, professional organizations, and industry specific seminars.

David received his BSBA in Finance and Accounting (magna cum laude) from the University of Richmond, Virginia, and his MBA (high distinction) from the University of Virginia’s Darden School. In addition, David is a CPA and member of the AICPA.

Randy Younger, CTO
Randy Younger served as CEO and cofounder of TelTron Telemetry Systems for over 20 years. TelTron is a supplier of high-speed telemetry hardware and software to the missile defense and satellite communities and has been recognized by the leadership at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) as contributing vitally to our nation's defense. He has also been the CTO for various technology companies including ImagiNav, LLC, TrackMyPizza, LLC, and now BlackSleeve Media. Randy has been awarded multiple patents in the areas of nuclear thin film contactless measurement and metal organic chemical vapor deposition. He also has a provisional patent in the area of non-GPS based indoor navigation.

In addition to being a technology innovator, Randy is also a music producer, composer, and songwriter. He has produced several Grammy nominated and winning artist including 3-time Grammy nominee Michele Pillar, 3-time Grammy nominee and 3-time CMA winner Tim Rushlow (Little Texas) and multi-Grammy nominee and 9 time Dove winner Jaci Velasquez, as well as the Emmy nominated actor and musician Johnny Crawford (Mark McCain from The Rifleman). He has scored for film, and as a writer and composer has written songs with many different notable writers including Rick Ferrell, Lenny LeBlanc and Marty Funderburk. He is the owner/operator of Moon Ridge Studio located on his farm in North Alabama.

Doug DeAngelis, CCO
Doug DeAngelis is a composer/producer/musical director who began his career working at The Cars recording studio in Boston while attending Berklee College of Music. At age nineteen, he recorded the Nine Inch Nails hit “Head Like A Hole” with world-renowned producer Flood. In 1989, DeAngelis left Boston on a world tour with the Detroit Techno crossover dance artist Inner City. After the tour, he spent a year in Detroit with these early pioneers of what would quickly become ‘house music’, a main stay in dance clubs all over the world. In 1991 he moved to New York City where he amassed over 300 album & remix credits including 31 #1 Billboard Chart singles with artists like New Order, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Chaka Khan, Love and Rockets, Alicia Keyes, and No Doubt.

In 1998, DeAngelis moved to Los Angeles and began writing music for independent films, video games, and television shows. His music has appeared in contemporary television shows including CSI, 90210, Samantha Who, Ugly Betty, Studio 60 Live On The Sunset Strip, Dirty Sexy Money, Bones, What About Brian, Ghost Whisperer, Men In Trees, Alias, Cold Case, CSI Miami, ER, as well as dozens of reality television programs. He has written main title themes for Chelsea Lately, True Hollywood Stories Investigates, The NASCAR franchise on SPEED, Fly Girls, Trick It Out, Show Me The Money, Sex Love & Secrets, Runaway, World Series Of Blackjack, Ultimate Style, The Fast Track To Fame, The American Country awards, 12 Sexiest Vegas Dancers, and many other shows. As a dramatic composer, Doug’s clients include Michael Mann, Brian Grazer, John Wells, and Bob Yari.

In 2009, Doug won a BMI Music Award for his underscore to the FOX series 'Lie To Me', wrote main title song to the Dreamworks’ film Blades Of Glory starring Will Ferrell, and composed the score for an Academy Award nominated film entitled The Garden. Recent credits include 4 seasons of ABC Family’s top rated sitcom Baby Daddy and CNN Heroes.
